Aloha Life and the Law of Attraction

Aloha! As many of you know, the Aloha Life movie was recently released and the outpouring of support has been phenomenal. Mahalo to everyone who has sent me messages the last week - I have not been able to answer everyone individually but I am working on it and I promise I will get to everyone!
One question that has come up multiple times is "Is the Aloha Life just a Hawaiian version of the Law of Attraction?" It is a very good question. There are seven basic principles to living an Aloha Life - one which is summed up as "Energy Flows Where Attention Goes" - or simply, the Law of Attraction.
Much has been written, said, filmed and televised about the Law of Attraction - how if you apply it to your life, it will transform your existence. This can be very true, however it only works if you apply strength and a loving heart to the principle. The Law of Attraction is not a "Cosmic Cash Machine" nor a Genie in a Bottle. Energy will flow where attention goes, but attention means more than just wishing it were so.
To paraphrase the Buddha, "What you have become is a result of what you have thought." It is common for elite athletes to spend time visualizing their goals, seeing their success. Like an athlete, when we focus on what we want - our goals - we are more likely to achieve them. But what we learn through living an Aloha Life is the biggest part of the Law of Attraction is ACTION. Recognizing what you want out of life is an important part of growth, but ONLY through working toward these goals will they become a reality.
Mahalo nui loa!

well-said Alika! i would add this quote from the book The Art of Living: Vipassana Meditation:
A physical or vocal action assumes totally different significance according to the intention with which it is done.
so whatever action we take while working within the Law of Attraction MUST be borne of loving intention.
may you attract many nice people
thank you for the comments
